Recently came here after a patient of mine recommended them for great pupusas. It is a tiny hole in the wall restaurant, but cute and cozy. The waitstaff is friendly and we were seated right away.

I ordered a few revuelta pupusas and some platanos, the basics, just to test them out. After all, when you've been eating grandma's homemade pupusas your whole life, your standards are definitely high. The food came out in about 10 minutes, and everything was piping hot. The pupusas were decently sized and bubbling with cheese. I cut into them and they were just stuffed with filling. So good! I topped off my meal with the platanos which were also quite tasty.

Although they aren't grandma's homemade pupusas, they came awfully close! I will definitely be frequenting this little spot in the future!

Food: this is the best place to buy pupusas on the west side PERIODT. They run about $3 a pop and are always fresh, bubbling over with cheese and goodness. My go to is pork and cheese which is fire, beans and cheese are a close second. The curtido is on point too.

Atmosphere: while people do dine in here, I view this restaurant as a take out spot. I usually phone in my order of hella pupusas then swing by to pick them up 25 minutes later. They take cards at the front and I'm on my way in 5 minutes.

Service: again, I don't dine in but the staff has always been nice during my interactions with them.

Summary: fire pupusas, get you some.

Their food is ok but don't believe what you read on yelp about their hours of service. I showed up at 8:30 pm tonight and was told they were closed and they were already cleaning the grills. Their listing here on yelp says they are open til 9 Pm . This is very disappointing. I think will find a new place to eat!

Okay so everything looked delicious so we over-ordered... We ordered many pupusas, plantains, and more... And this was our second dinner! :)

I can't really say much more except come out and try the food. It'll speak for itself.

FYI, the ladies who work the restaurant are super kind. You can tell that people constantly come back since they know so many people who walk through the door.
